Accutane

Accutane (isotretionoin) can be prescribed by your health care provider if you tried a variety of treatments for your severe nodular acne, but all of them failed to give you the result you were hoping for. When going through the treatment you are not supposed to have any kind of hair removal with the use of wax or laser, as your skin is very sensitive during this period and 6 months after you are finished taking the medicine. Any particular health conditions you or any member of your family had should be reported to the doctor giving you the prescription. Please remember to mention any of the following health conditions to make sure your treatment is safe and efficient: osteoporosis, high level of fats in the blood, anorexia nervosa, heart or liver disease, depression, mental illness, asthma, diabetes or attempted suicide.
